The International Relations and Defence Committee is appointed by the House of Lords in each session “to consider the United Kingdom’s international relations and defence policy”.
This Programme is based on long-standing Czech-Ukrainian relations. It builds on the humanitarian, stabilization and transformation efforts we have undertaken in Ukraine over the past years, as well as on our business presence in the country.
Czech Aid in Ukraine The Czech Republic is actively supporting Ukraine through humanitarian, stabilization, reconstruction, and economic assistance. For the years 2022 to 2025, it has allocated CZK 1.8 billion (approximately EUR 73,5 million) under the government’s “Programme Ukraine.”
